Right I'm off to catch my flight for Vegas in an hour. I'm going to be putting regular updates in my blog. As far as I'm aware myself and Eoghan Lyons (Limerick Poker team vice captain) are the only Limerick players going. Of course this is no surprise since Eoghan and I are basically in a different class to the rest of county.
Eoghan won his ticket for the main event on Betfair and I'll be watching his progess closely. I'm not competeing in the ME myself, I'm there mostly for cash games, coke and hookers (not necessarily in that order) but I may try and satelite in to one of the smaller events and will likely play some of the other non WSOP tournaments going on around Vegas. I'm not buying straight into any WSOP event as I don't really see any value in them.
