Re: need help

Contact local businesses and parents to see if anyone can donate a few things to give as prizes. Hotels are usually good as they are happy to give away free midweek rooms etc. Poker funderaisers are hard to pull off unless it is a big well known cause as poker players in general aren't the most generous bunch. I think you would need some pretty good prizes for players want to give to a cause they have nothing to do with.

You could have a normal tournament with optional "charity chips". It could be a €50+€10 as normal and then players have the option to pay €10 for an extra 1k at the start and then have the same option at the break or something with the extra tenners going to paying for the trip. Or else have €10 rebuys with all the rebuys going to the trip.
